A word on comments

If you read this, think about commenting once and awhile. Here's why:
  • I'm interested in what YOU think about the stuff that I think about.
  • I want you to correct me if I make stupid grammatical errors. It may embarrass me but learning is more important.
  • I want to create a sense of community in this weird and freaky Internet world.
  • I like you.
I do understand that commenting sometimes feels annoying or strange to do and I don't need anyone else to read what you have to say if you don't want them to so if you don't want to post a comment here, at least maybe shoot me an e-mail sometime! shaktihoweth@gmail.com

Cool.

  1. I guess in terms of the whole grammar thing I should also mention that sometimes I choose to break a few rules or just don't care, but I'm sure some of it just slips through the cracks and I WANT TO KNOW! I hate admitting when I'm wrong but I hate not knowing when I'm wrong even more! Ah!

  2. People are much too busy creating their only blogs in hopes that some one will comment on it to comment on someone elses blog. Blogging is not a circle silly. It's a line...to no where. Except for that I just commented, so I guess I'm proving myself wrong right now.

    Circle complete. Ahhh.

  3. Well why don't you shoot a period in there at the end of your sentence if you want me to shoot you an email!!! That was a joke. You don't need to fix that. It's cool.

  4. hello lovely...i, too, love it when people comment. mostly because i don't want to feel like i'm writing in a vacuum. if i didn't want anyone to engage, i would write in a private journal. i don't worry too much about it, don't look at any stats or any such thing and only comment on other's blogs when i feel like i have something to say, but i agree that it always makes me feel a bit better to have people engage via the interwebs. well, maybe not 'better' but at least i feel somewhat connected to other ideas and thoughts.
hey, how are the new jobs going? and how the hell are you surviving la with no ac? i wouldn't be able to do it.
